Our Campaign

Welcome To Fayette Street Outreach Non-Profit Organization

Founded in 1993 to address the needs of the residents of the West-Baltimore community. Like other communities that were facing drug activity that was causing their community to go down Fayette Street Outreach (FSO) came together.
The non-profit, all-volunteer FSO encompasses the areas of Mulberry Street, Monroe Street, Gwynns Falls Parkway and Warwick Avenue.

One Mission!

Making a Profound Difference

Since that first night, August, 24, 1993, when FSO came together in a Bon Secours meeting room to hear then-Del. Elijah Cummings speak a powerful group formed. Edna Manns-Lake, President and Founder of Fayette Street Outreach enlisted the assistance of Sterling Brunson.

Mission

(1) is to build a better, safer, and healthier community. (2) To help our youth to be able to fulfill their dreams, and to help our senior citizens feel safe in the community. (3) To build a brighter future for every resident of our community.

Goal

(1) is to work towards building up our community so that we meet the economical needs of our community. (2) To help our your to build a brighter future for themselves. (3) To help heal our community from the violence that is happening within our society.

Guidance from Leadership

We Work With The Community

So they can embrace themselves. There is a generational wealth gap in this area. We want to give people the opportunity to live and thrive in this community.

-Sterling Brunson
Treasurer of FSO

FSO Started In My Mom’s House

Seven residents wanted to make a change in the community when drug traffic had a heavy presence in our community. We soon developed a comprehensive community program.

-Edna Manns-Lake, President and Founder of FSO

We Developed These Relationships

…and partnerships and was able to do this work with God’s help and somebody else’s resources. We are very adamant about having a place that youth and seniors can come and receive experiences that will be life-changing.
-Timothy Bridges, Vice President of FSO

Our Causes

As national priorities and community needs change, Fayette Street Outreach has broadened its scope and later identified ways to assist and uplift our community. Today, FSO assists low-income adult residents in our community with severe barriers in an effort to find success.
